Self-pity will not take you anywhere; infact it will plunge you into the dark world of loneliness which might result in emotional breakdown.

Marriage/relationship is not a do or die affair, the fact that you are not in one does not make you less human or less of an achiever. The bitter truth is, not everyone will get married, just as not everyone in marriage will not bear a child. Life is a mystery!!!

Life is a mystery and no one can understand its full depth. Never see yourself as being superior or inferior to another person. You should be proud of who you are. Even if your erroneous actions resulted in your present predicament or situation, just note that you are better off than a madman/madwoman or the dead.

We all make mistakes and no one is a saint. As long as blood flows through your veins, mistakes are bound to happen. Stop wallowing in self-pity, c’mon, dust yourself and move on. I know you are saying, you don’t understand and you aren’t in my shoe but you don’t know what I am passing through either. We all have issues/problems and “problem no dey finish”;  it’s how you manage them that matters.

Your situation is still far better than some others. As they say, no one can make you less a human or make you feel worse/inferior without your permission.

Take that bold step, put on your best clothes, go out and have fun.  Remember, your present situation is someone’s else prayer point.
